Welcome to Our Lady of Grace Parish, a Family of Faith
The Presence of Christ, a Beacon of God’s Love
Our Lady of Grace Parish is a faith filled community that embraces diversity and has adapted to the changing environment while maintaining its core Catholic values and identity. By remembering those who have come before us, we honor the legacy of the diversity of our founders who, molded by God’s blessings and the holy priests He empowered, joined together to establish our church.Fr. Julien Esse, SMA

“Nowhere on earth are you more welcome, nowhere on earth are you more loved than by Jesus, living and truly present in the most Blessed Sacrament. The time you spend with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament, is the best time you will spend on earth. Each moment that you spend with Jesus, will deepen your union with Him and will make your soul everlastingly more glorious and beautiful in heaven, and will help bring about an everlasting peace on earth” Saint Teresa of Calcutta (Mother Teresa)
St. Anne Church was established in 1919 by Father William Cleary in response to the needs of a growing and multi-ethnic Catholic community in East Moline. Today, over 100 years later, we are still a faith-filled community that embraces diversity and has adapted to the changing environment while maintaining its core Catholic values and identity.
Catholics first gathered as a community under the spiritual leadership of Fr. John G. Alleman in the 1850’s. St. John’s was formally founded in 1878 as a mission. Our ancestors worked hard to lay the foundation of our parish persevering despite harsh and severe living conditions. Even after the first two churches of St. Mary’s were destroyed by fire, they remained firm in their faith.
“God loves us, God loves you all, and evil will not prevail!”
— Pope Leo XIV
