St. Anne Church was established in 1919 by Father William Cleary in response to the needs of a growing and multi-ethnic Catholic community in East Moline. Today, over 100 years later, we are still a faith-filled community that embraces diversity and has adapted to the changing environment while maintaining its core Catholic values and identity.
Catholics first gathered as a community under the spiritual leadership of Fr. John G. Alleman in the 1850’s. St. John’s was formally founded in 1878 as a mission. Our ancestors worked hard to lay the foundation of our parish persevering despite harsh and severe living conditions. Even after the first two churches of St. Mary’s were destroyed by fire, they remained firm in their faith.

Dessert Donations for Spaghetti Supper
Our Lady of Grace Parish will be having their annual Spaghetti Supper on Saturday, October 24th. We are in need of dessert donations.
Cakes, brownies, cupcakes, and fruit pies are preferred. Note: We can’t accept any cream or custard pies due to food safety rules.
Please contact Denise McNeil at 309-781-5912 if you can make a dessert or have any questions.
The desserts can be dropped off at Cleary Hall on Saturday morning, October 24th from 10:00 am-1:00 pm.

Religious Education Wreath Sale Fundraiser!
Our Lady of Grace Parish Religious Education Wreath Sale order forms are located at the entrance of St. John and St. Anne Church.
This has always been a very successful fundraiser for our Religious Education department and helps to pay for learning materials for Religious Education classes and allows us to continue to afford to participate in the Totus Tuus program!

Our Lady of Grace Spaghetti Supper!
Join us for the Our Lady of Grace Spaghetti Supper on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 5:00-7:30 pm at St. Anne’s Cleary Hall (1705 6th St., East Moline).
Tickets are $9 each.
The meal includes spaghetti with meat sauce, lettuce salad, breadsticks, dessert, and one beverage.
Early Bird ticket purchases are strongly encouraged to help us plan and prepare the appropriate amount of food and beverages.
