Pastoral Council Meeting Summary – June 2026

The Our Lady of Grace Pastoral Council met on June 2nd to discuss ongoing parish projects and upcoming summer events. Here are the main takeaways for our parish family:

• Campus Signage Updates: The council voted to move forward with refreshing and updating the current signs at both the St. John’s and St. Anne’s campuses to give them a clean, fresh, unified look. A new sign for the St. John’s stone wall is also in development.

• Property Planning: We reviewed a beautiful, phased proposal for a future green space where the old school building stood. The plan aims to incorporate historical elements like the old church cornerstone and the St. Anne statue.

• Ministry & Volunteer Needs: Father Julien shared feedback from our ministry leaders. We are looking to foster a stronger "family spirit" across our campuses and are currently looking for volunteers to help with bingo, as well as lectors and altar servers for weekend Masses (especially on Saturdays).

• Pastoral Council Changes: We want to extend a huge thank you to Steve Matheis and Ellie Betzle for their dedicated service as their council terms come to an end! We are also excited to welcome Brett Clark and Chris Dennhardt as our newest council members.
